2019 Florida Delta Days at the Capital (DDAC)

For the past 25 years, members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in the State of Florida have aggressively fulfilled and pursued their mission to address the concerns and needs of the under-served citizens in the State of Florida. In our cities and communities, we continue to encourage and facilitate voter registration efforts, voter participation, partnerships with local high schools and community colleges to identify job opportunities, health fairs that address mental health issues as well as physical health issues.

Delta members in the State of Florida have insured that these issues have been addressed – and we will continue to do so — as a means to execute and facilitate Social Action change in the State of Florida.

In celebration of the work we have done and to discuss the work we have yet to do, the Regional and State Social Action Teams extend an invitation to join us March 31 – April 2, 2019 for the  25th Anniversary of the Florida Delta Days at the Capitol.

Planning is underway for 3 exciting days that will include legislative briefings on critical issues facing our communities along with continued discussion about how Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. can continue to build on our Founders legacy by allowing social action to fuel change and improvement for the voiceless in our communities. It will be an action packed few days filled with vital information as well as opportunities to fellowship with your sisters. It is our hope that you will answer the “Call to Action” and leave informed, revived with the spirit of the Founders and continue the critical work of social action. We are Celebrating 25 Years: Considering the Past, Challenging the Present, Changing the Future
