A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the Queen of Diamonds initiative! Today, we are excited to introduce our 5th Queen, Curressia McFarland-Brown, M.Ed., J.D.
Soror McFarland-Brown is a Spring 1988 initiate of the Theta Pi Chapter, Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi, and a current member of Greenwood-Itta Bena Alumnae. When asked why she supports the Queen of Diamonds, she shared, “I support the philanthropic initiatives of the Southern Region (HBCU Giving, Scholarships, etc.) because of my obligation to support the next generation with the time, talent, and treasure God has loaned me for this lifetime. Jackie Robinson declared, ‘A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.’ Being a member of the Queen of Diamonds Club empowers me to impact others alongside my Sisters in the Dynamic Southern Region.”
